Hey Glen Innes Churches. I think Ministers, Vicars, Fathers,
are trying to include Worldly issues and God's message.
Am I right or wrong
Hendrik is definitely a friend. If not yours but others.

Glen Innes Churches Christmas message was pretty weak with confusion trying
to talk about Secular goods about Consumers consumption of goods
trying to say people are doing the wrong thing.
Off course the Glen Innes Churches Denominations want you to think about Church and go to their Church.
Have a read about Christmas here 2010 Glen Innes Churches Christmas Churches I have not bothered to discuss.

Have a look at Christmas Xmas Lights Glen Innes. Definitely less Xmas Light displays then last year
and the Christmas Message by the Religious Churches 2010 was definitely less powerful then last year and last year 2009 the Churches Christmas Message was rated pretty low. So this year the rating Churches of the Churches in Glen Innes is lower then last year I would rate then as 20% because the Churches are trying to be relevant and as a result the Churches such as Catholic Church, Uniting Church, Presbyterian Church, Anglican Church, Seven Day Adventist, Pentecostal, Christian Life load their message to what people would listen to. Yet the message really is that the Great King the person who created the world sent his Son into the world. The event of Jesus was so great that the Shepherds experienced Angels singing God's graciousness because His Son was sent to help Mankind showing how God loves the world. and people could have their sins forgiven. The reason people need to have their sins forgiven they need to become a member of God's Kingdom so that when they die they then go to live with God, Jesus Christ. To load the message where 90% is not relevant from a Church Message that God has given the Denominations to preach is to treat God with Contempt.
It is better to keep the Religious Birth of Jesus Christ separated to the Secular Message  people giving gifts to each other. Fellowship  with each other and family would take away the scorn the people in the Communities generally have to the Churches about the so called Christmas message about God's Son.  Last years message 2009 . Scroll down this page. I have not listed the 2010 Churches Christmas messages because I considered them to weak to even spend time on them. That is from a Religious point of view.
Have a look at my Religious Site You Must Repent. www.youmustrepent.com.
...........
I have pulled these two quotes below from the Glen Innes  Examiner
Archbishop sounds warning against legacy of warfare  Erik Jensen 24 Dec 2010
........
The Reverend Frank Willis, the president of the Baptist Union of NSW and ACT, began his message among the rampant consumption of a shopping centre at Christmas time: ''Jesus still challenges our lifestyle as He did when He first came. He often makes us uncomfortable. Yet for those who give Him place in their lives, He brings new life and hope.
The only part of  Frank Willis Christmas Message for a Church is Jesus brings new life and hope. And what is that new life and hope that God talks about about Jesus's Birth. Jesus came to save people from their sins. God's message in the New Testament does not condemn people for buying gifts, giving joy to other people. The Good news and hope is that through the birth of Jesus Christ his son came into the world to talk to us and to tell us about his Father and Jesus was born to take the serious journey of finally laying down his life for us. Jesus came so that we could have hope and that hope is that we can be in God's Kingdom, our sin's forgiven and when out journey in this life the hope is that we will live with Jesus Christ.
So the Christmas message brings new life and hope.

....................
The moderator of the Uniting Church, the Reverend Niall Reid, encouraged parishioners to love their enemies.

'Many will say it doesn't work, that we can't change human nature,'' he said. ''But in what ways does the alternative create a safer, better world for our children?'' Season's greetings

''Human failure is not the end of the story. We can't beat God that easily. Each year will still end with Christmas, until the end of time. Christmas says this: our failures, our sins, are not the last word. Hope and peace with God are still possible.''
A couple of words from the moderator are relevant but the message itself is a secular message. Not about God's message.

The Glen Innes Churches, Denomination are on the same wavelength as their Head Offices.
As I have said. The Secular message and the true Christian message should be separated. A  Secular message or God's message confuses the issues and the Churches are teaching error.
God does not condemn the Christmas time. God wants people to have a good time, give gifts to each other. come together as a family. God wants you to have a good life and Christmas is a joyous time for many people.
The Churches , Denominations have no right to be busy condemning people, Business because Christmas is a great time for Businesses.

So let the Churches get out of the area that is not relevant to them, after all, they are supposed to be working for their Boss, God, Jesus Christ.

As I said earlier, the Churches job is to tell people about God and how he sent his son into the world so that we could have peoples sins forgiven.

Title of Christmas Message Xmas,
Christ is a human face of God
Rated 2 out of 10 .2 is Wheat, 8 was chaff
St Patricks Catholic Church Glen Innes Why did Jesus come into the world? a good question not answered here
maybe just a hint in the message.  The punch line is Quote, 'At Christmas we celebrate the fact that God the Father sent his Son into the world to become a man, to put a human face on God, to peace on Earth, good will to men"
Needless to say the statement above is correct.'.

But the main reason Jesus was sent by his Father, is that Jesus came to save his people from their sins, so we could have peace with God.
Say all the things you wish to add, but you cannot leave out the Goal of Jesus' Mission. A lot happened in the 3 years of Jesus Ministry, but he never lost his purpose which was to be born into the world as a man, through Jesus we know God and finally he laid down his life. Jesus paid the price, gave up his own life, died and paid the price for my sin, your sin, so through Jesus we have sins forgiven, we come to Jesus, we confess our sins and he, God forgives our sin, so then we have peace with God and he promises us a promised land, when we die we live with Jesus. Jesus rose from the dead and through Jesus we need never fear death, because we do not die, our body dies but we as a person our soul spirit goes home to our Father and Jesus our wonderful Saviour.
So now you know why the angels were singing to the shepherds at Jesus Birth, wonderful news bringing peace to mankind..

Jesus brought an eternal kingdom

Why did Jesus come into the world? a good question not answered here maybe just a hint in the message.
Glen Innes  Pentecostal Church Christian Life Centre
Quote: 'The Christmas story presents a very different perspective. It tells the story of an eternal being entering into a very natural body offering eternal life to those who believe on him. He came to show us a new way to live and to invite us into a kingdom that goes way beyond the physical realm.'
If anybody understands this punch line of the Christian life above would be a genius. It is true that Church Denomination in Glen Innes and other churches have there own language and only people in the loop, culture understand. .

Why did Jesus come into the world? a good question not answered here maybe just a bit more of a hint in the message.
Glen Innes  Presbyterian Church
Quote: 'I want my fellow citizens within Glen Innes and beyond, to know lasting peace, to have assurance of everlasting life via the Babe of Bethlehem who became the Christ of the Cross and Saviour of all who will acknowledge him.
"For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned but whoever does not believe  is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only son.' John 3 :16, 17
I wonder what this quote above enlightens anybody in Glen Innes about the meaning of Christmas. If you understand the language maybe.

Why did Jesus come into the world? A good question not answered here maybe just a bit more of a hint in the message.
Glen Innes  Uniting Church.

Quote: 'Mary no doubt that she was to give birth to the incarnate (in the flesh) Word of God..
If I was a bedding person I am 100% sure she never understood that at the birth of Jesus Christ.
In the Temple when she was with Jesus who was twelve she took to heart what Jesus said at that time because he, Jesus said to her mother, 'I must do my fathers work".
So she was probably perplexed at what he said to her. I am sure Mary did not understand who Jesus was except that he was to be a Saviour of some sort. .

Christmas a time to reflect on our values
Rated 1 out of 10
Why did Jesus come into the world? a good question not answered here  at all in the Glen Innes  Anglican Church

Quote: 'Let's not forget that Christmas is about the gift to us of Jesus and little else. In Jesus there is health and direction (eternally in fact), real family (the opportunity of move into God's family}, safety even for the  vulnerable (as God rolls out his plan of rescue in Jesus) and in him is hope for big relationship  (how we can finally be friends with God we tend to ignore or reject.)'
This Anglican Church Glen Innes Christmas message is pure rubbish only mentioning a bit of religious words. Pure rubbish. There is a message there in the quote but it is surely hidden to most people. if not all people ,except to the person who penned the quote.

Christmas' true magic is its link to Easter.

Why did Jesus come into the world? a good question answered fully here  in the Glen Innes  Baptist church.
This from the Glen Innes is great to read and astutely lies out the Christmas message.

Quote: ' we are owed a debt, because of our sin. We had broken God's holy laws, and could only plead guilty.
We could do nothing toward clearing the debt from our name.
The Bible says, 'The soul that sins will die" ..... Jesus came to do what we could not do. As God the Son, He entered the world as a baby for the purpose of paying our spiritual debt.... 'Jesus came into the world to save sinners.' He paid our debt! Have you accepted this?
The Glen Innes Baptist Church has given you the true Christman Message 2009.
Go to the Baptist Church and here a true message from the God who sent Jesus into the world so that we could be saved.
Get to know your Bible because through Jesus' birth the shadow of death was removed. Jesus offers you life, life eternal. Read your Bible and find more.
